NEW LANDFILL CELL AT SIGNATERRE, MASCOUCHE (CANADA)

October 2021
A new double-sealed landfill cell was built at Signaterre during the summer of 2021. The impermeability of the primary and secondary HDPE geomembranes had to be validated using the water puddle method on the exposed geomembranes ( ASTM D7002) and also with the dipole method after the placement of layers of natural materials (ASTM D7007). The total area of the portion tested in 2021 was 86,100 m2.
