CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION, CQA AND LEAK LOCATION IN CELL 2, ARCELORMITTAL CONTRECOEUR EST

Groupe Alphard was involved in many elements of this project, including engineering design of the new confinement cell, works surveillance and geosynthetic materials quality assurance (QCA). The surveillance and QCA programs included the validation of natural materials used during construction and the monitoring of construction activities in conformity with engineering design specifications. A leak location survey was also provided, using both the water puddle and dipole methods to validate over 12,000 m ² of geomembrane liner.
