WATER PUDDLE AND DIPOLE IN A RETENTION BASIN IN LÉVIS, QUÉBEC

Construction B.M.L. (a division of Sintra inc.) obtained the mandate for the construction of rue Saint-Omer in Lévis (Québec). This project includes the construction and quality assessment of a retention basin. To do this, the services of Groupe Alphard were retained to carry out a water puddle campaign (ASTM D7002) on the geomembrane exposed after its installation, then a second campaign on the drainage and protection layer using the dipole method (ASTM D7007). The basin’s area was 4,600 m².
